Exhibits at the Cade

May 2023 – January 2025

Branding + Identity
Exhibit Design

I’ve worked on a variety of exhibits at the Cade Museum, from rotating to permanent exhibits, focusing on topics such as animation, music, food and agriculture, space, textiles, and more.

Rotating Exhibits

Each rotating exhibit gets its own branding, image treatment, and visual language that can be seen throughout the whole museum experience. This includes large exhibit panels, custom-built graphics and activities, flyers, signage, digital assets, and ads.

The stories are told through unusual connections, “aha!” moments, and inventor highlights.

From Space to Video Games to Music, we rotate topics about every four months to pique the interest of museum guests.

Fibonacci in Motion

September 2022
I designed the Cade Museum’s donor wall, titled Fibonacci in Motion. This exhibit celebrates the foundational donors to the museum, while also giving context to the importance of the Fibonacci sequence. The entire wall has multiple references to the famous number sequence.

A spiral arcs around the sculpture featuring profiles disguised as “gestalt image” optical illusions. The viewer is encouraged to spin the sculpture, and read on about how Fibonacci is all connected. The numbers of the sequence meander the wall through “spark lines”.

The wall’s design revolves around an already-existing spinning sculpture by Jenn Garrett, which I expanded into an activated wall.
